 It is helpful to work on your boxing for your stand up game. Using bag gloves for the bag, boxing gloves for ring and wraps for the bag can really be helpful. Find out from your instructor the size gloves you need for proper training. Also note there is a difference in men's and women's gloves.

 IT has to do with the bone structure of your hand. Women’s are more narrower and the gloves reflect that. Century has a nice womens’ glove. You can even get it in pink. There are shorts and tanks as well, and athletic cups if you are a true boxer. There are many cool styles of shorts to represent your personality.
